Do I have to do both carpet and paint?
No.
If I need some minor construction, plumbing, etc can you do it?
No. One of the reasons we are so good at what we do is that we are finely specialized. We project manage, remove/recycle existing flooring, move/levitate furniture, paint and install flooring. We can recommend a quality GC as we work with them all.
Do I have a wide selection of carpet?
Yes, any major commercial manufacturer you want including Interface, Lees, Milliken, Mohawk, Shaw, etc. We have them all. These are the same carpets specified by all of the major design firms. We are certified installers of all commercial flooring.
Do you sell and install stone, ceramic, wood and resilient flooring?
Yes, we are certified installers of all commercial flooring products.
Will you help me with color and design?
Yes. We have staff that can assist on a limited basis. We can also refer you to Interior Designers that we have worked with over the years or we can work with your designer.
If I already have a general contractor will you work with them?
Yes. We probably already have a relationship with them.
Do I have to use carpet tile?
No, but the cost of furniture handling increases, waste increases, project durations increase and the product warranties are not as good. Your project will cost more and take longer. Today, all major corporations and institutions use carpet tile for these reasons.
Will I have odors and fumes?
All of the carpeting is “CRI Green Label” certified. All paints are “no VOC”. We use these same materials in occupied hospitals and nursing facilities. All MSDS sheets are available prior to purchase. We also run an air scrubber during installation which mitigates dust and “new carpet and paint” odors.
Is the carpet “first quality”?
Yes, all manufacturers’ warranties apply which includes lifetime edge ravel and delamination. Many lines have stain removal warranties as well.
What is the installation warranty?
5 years. If you are going to have a problem you will see it in the first week though. Typically, there are no problems, which is another nice thing about carpet tile.
What happens to my existing carpet?
We remove it and send it to carpet recyclers.
Will my property manager let you work in our building?
We probably either already are working in your building or have worked in your building or for your property manager. We have the maximum levels of insurance and the finest references.
How fast can I get my carpet?
We have a limited selection in stock, Quick Ship lines arrive in two weeks and highly styled carpet is available is 6 weeks. Paint is immediately available.
What about my computers at the desks?
If they are on the desk tops of systems furniture (cubicles) there is no need to do anything. We just need them off of the floor.
Are there any theft issues?
All of our employees are highly paid, criminally background checked and drug tested. They even have clean driving records. We have not had any complaints of theft. But, we are fully licensed and bonded. We work in many high security areas like banks, pharmacies, defense facilities, etc.
Is there any chance that work will not be completed by morning?
It’s never happened. We have the ability to bring in additional manpower during the night if there is an issue.
Will we have to pack up anything?
It depends on the furniture, what kind of things you have, etc. If, needed, we provide specialized packing boxes at no charge. Packing is usually minimal.
Is this a new service?
No, we have been doing it for years.
